Support

Need help moving, checking or exchanging surplus crusher spares? Our Middelburg team supports quarries and mines with practical handling from listing through to delivery.

How Our Support Team Works With Your Site

Crusher Spare Exchange is based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga and supports quarry and mine clients across South Africa with surplus crusher spares, used parts and exchange stock. If you are clearing a yard, sourcing a stop-gap item for a shutdown, or trying to recover value from spare parts you no longer need, we help you handle it in a way that is orderly and cost aware.

Our support starts with your enquiry form submission and ends when the part is inspected, stored, packed, collected or delivered. We work with sites in eMalahleni, Rustenburg, Polokwane, Kathu and Pietermaritzburg, plus the wider Secunda and Lydenburg areas, so transport planning and timing are part of the job from the start.

Inspection, Reporting and Fitment Checks

Spares can look serviceable at first glance but quarry conditions, dust, heat and vibration tell a different story. That is why Sibusiso Ndlovu and the inspection team check each item for visible wear, damage, missing fixings and anything that may affect reuse. We provide condition reporting that is practical, clear and suitable for buying, selling or exchange decisions.

  • Visual checks on wear surfaces, castings and mounting points
  • Condition notes for resale, exchange or scrap assessment
  • Fitment checks against the stated machine type and dimensions
  • Advice for shutdown sourcing when time is tight

Storage, Packing and Yard Control in Middelburg

Some spares need to wait in storage before the next move and that is where our Middelburg yard comes in. Johan Steenkamp manages yard and storage control so items are kept in an organised manner, with palletising and packing arranged to suit the part size and transport method. That matters when you are dealing with heavy wear parts, odd shaped components or stock that may sit for a few weeks before dispatch.

Our storage support is useful for clients who are short on space, managing multiple sites, or dealing with planned shutdowns. During load-shedding or wet weather, having parts stored correctly can save you a lot of trouble later, especially where coastal humidity or rust risk is a factor.

Collections and Delivery Across Quarry Regions

Mpho Rakoma coordinates local collections and nationwide delivery for surplus crusher spares between quarries, mines and storage yards. We handle movements in the Middelburg region as well as routes to eMalahleni, Rustenburg, Polokwane, Kathu and Pietermaritzburg. If you need an urgent collection, we will work through access rules, loading requirements and site timing so the handover runs properly.

For clients sending parts out, we make sure the load is packed for transit and marked clearly. For clients receiving parts, we can arrange delivery so the item arrives ready for checking and processing on site.

Surplus Exchange, Consignment and Scrap Decisions

Not every unused part should go straight to scrap. Anika van Zyl handles sales and exchange decisions with a practical view on what can still be traded, what should be listed, and what is only fit for scrap value. That way, clients can recover value from spare stock rather than letting it sit and lose money in the yard.

  • Surplus listing for parts that can be resold or exchanged
  • Consignment sales for items better handled through our network
  • Scrap vs exchange guidance for damaged or incomplete spares
  • Urgent spares search when you need a replacement fast

Who To Contact On The Team

Thabo Johannes Mokoena leads the business and oversees the support process with the rest of the team. Lerato Maseko manages operations, Nokuthula Dlamini handles client support, and the yard, inspection and logistics functions are kept linked so nothing gets lost between enquiry and delivery. It keeps the process straightforward, even when the order is small or the shutdown timetable is tight.

If you need help with a listing, condition query, collection plan or exchange request, use the enquiry form on our contact page and tell us what you have, where it is and when it must move. The more detail you give us up front the quicker we can advise on the next step.
